Spark plug gaskets are more than simple rings
They may not look special to you but these spark plug gaskets are actually pretty impressive.
When you stamp over 200 million parts every year for cars all over the world, your last part must be just as impeccable as the first one.
Even if the smallest rings are made of so little material (~0.02g/pc) that they are at the limit of stampability.
Thanks to our decades of expertise in stamping technology, we can produce these gaskets without machining.
A high-volume (1 million per week) precision progressive stamping tool is more costly in the beginning but thanks to low piece-part costs it presents an economical alternative.
It can decrease material waste, reduce the number of components, incorporate complex features, or simply reduce costs.
Using pressures of up to 51 tonnes, we manufacture stamped parts between 0.05 and 4 mm thickness with either progressive, forming or compound dies, depending on the material and requirements.
For you, this means faster production at lower costs – yet consistent high quality from the first part to the last. The quality of our tools and parts are a result of our DIN EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality assurance systems.
Most of our parts are copper plated for corrosion protection and thermal conductivity.
But in some cases, basic steel gaskets may also be suitable.
It simply depends on your needs.
