Meet Benjamin Bögli
Benjamin joined EKKO-MEISTER last summer after finishing his apprenticeship with a specialization in turning. He’s our all-rounder CNC operator and mainly mills high-quality custom tools.
=> Benjamin, what does a typical day look like?
I start up everything and mostly work on the milling machine, the EDM machine, or simply drill starter holes. When the high-precision machines are running, I program the next workpieces on the PC using the 3D models made by our engineers.
=> What do you like most about your job?
I like that I can mostly organize my work myself. It’s also very motivating that I get to discover different machines and learn new machining processes like sinker and wire EDM.
=> What was the most exciting task or activity so far?
Creating injection molds! Although it can be challenging because it has to be extremely precise. All the different measurements have to fit together perfectly.
=> What do you think about EKKO-MEISTER?
Everyone is good at their job and we can count on each other, so the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.

I like to spend time with my friends.

If you don’t take the time to prepare it correctly, you will lose more time when you have to do it over.
